ALL WORKS

Sharing my art with others provides me with a deeper understanding of the message, or the imprint the piece is meant to leave behind. During the time I spend working on the piece, its story unfolds, evolving from session to session. I am usually left with the imprint of its message to me, until I hear what it means to other viewers; how a work reaches the soul of others, what they see and are reminded of, confirms for me the power of art.  Trusting my journey so far has brought me here, along with all the good things that have come with.  I never thought I would get to a place where I could ever let go of my works, but I have bravely past that point to embrace sending it off with its messenger out in the world creating conversations and inspirations.  It's about letting go, living forward, creating newly with every work without having the gaze of the past keeping me in its pursuit.  My art, like I, needs to continue growing.
